Bridge expansion joints are a critical component of a bridge’s superstructure. Their core function is to enable free expansion and contraction in both horizontal and vertical directions, accommodating displacements and maintaining connections within the superstructure caused by vehicle loads and the bridge’s construction materials, while ensuring a smooth ride and meeting waterproofing and dust-proofing requirements.

The bridge expansion joints supplied by the company utilize standardized construction techniques and possess excellent bidirectional (horizontal and vertical) free expansion capabilities. They can effectively accommodate displacement changes during bridge operation, ensuring safe and smooth traffic flow. The products were installed in strict accordance with design requirements and construction standards, and the installation was successfully completed in collaboration with the construction contractor.

The contractor for this project, China Communications Construction Second Highway Engineering Bureau Third Engineering Co., Ltd., was established in 1964.
